The number of the Muslim population of Great Britain in the beginning of year has exceeded 3 million people, it is spoken about in the research spent by Office of national statistics. It is noted that among all religions it is the Muslim population that shows the greatest growth rate. As for Christianity, the number of its adherents, on the contrary, is decreasing.
This is confirmed by a video published in social networks, in which Muslims flooded the streets of London.
The study did not mention the geographical settlement of Muslims in Britain, but such data could be found in the 2011 census. According to its data, the areas with the highest proportion of Muslim population were in London (two areas with 34.5% and 32% respectively) and Blackburn, Yorkshire, Birmingham and Luton.
