In the evening of August 20, the mobile phones of the management of Grodno Azot OJSC received messages with death threats if they did not participate in the strike and support the strike committee. Reported by the Investigative Committee of the Republic.
An identical “message” was sent to 6 employees at once in the Viber messenger, and in each such case the names of the children of the company’s employees were indicated.
Due to the fact that citizens perceived this threat realistically, they feared for themselves, as well as for the life and health of their children, they wrote appropriate statements to the Investigative Committee.
Based on these facts, the Grodno interdistrict department of the Investigative Committee will give a legal assessment.
