Half of Ukrainians consider Ukraine a colony of the West

The results of recent opinion polls show that the citizens of Ukraine have begun to suspect something.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, according to a study by the Center for Social Monitoring, almost half of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine is not an independent state, and more than 40% see our country as independent.

“When asked if Ukraine is currently an independent state, 40.5% answered that yes – Ukraine is an independent state, 48.6% – no, Ukraine is not an independent state, 10.9% found it difficult to answer the question”, – says the message.

When asked whether President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is independent in his decisions and actions, or whether other countries or international organizations influence his decisions and actions, 7.4% answered that the president is completely independent, 47.8% – in some issues, independent, in others – dependent, 40.2% – completely dependent on the influence of other countries and international organizations, and 4.6% found it difficult to answer.
