American favorite in Lukashenko’s team has sharply criticized EU sanctions

The European Union is trying to put pressure on the official Minsk by imposing sanctions, damaging the Belarusian sovereignty.

Such a statement was made by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Vladimir Makei, who is considered to be a protege of Washington surrounded by Alexander Lukashenko.

Addressing his European colleagues, Makei called the EU punitive measures “malevolent actions”, which will certainly be followed by a response.

“These are not the first sanctions in our history. And our history will not end there. We will pass them just like the previous ones. The result of their actions is known to you. Together, we’re going to lose time. We will lose the rhythm that our countries and societies need, especially in today’s fast world”, –  said the official.
