Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who lost the presidential election in Belarus, turned to Europe and asked her not to recognize the voting results.
“I urge you not to recognize the results of the rigged elections”, – she said.
A video message of her request was posted on YouTube. She recorded it in English.
“To facilitate a peaceful transfer of power in my country, I have initiated the creation of the National Coordinating Council of Belarus, which will lead the process of a peaceful transfer of power through dialogue”, – added Tikhanovskaya.
