A significant number of citizens of Belarus will be on the EU sanctions list.
This decision was made at today’s emergency summit of EU leaders.
The black list will include those citizens who supported the work of election commissions and counted votes. The European Union accuses them of rigging the results. In addition, sanctions will be imposed against the Belarusian law enforcement officers who fought against violators during the riots.
The EU warns that a large number of people will be included in the sanctions list.
As News Front previously reported, the European Union has officially refused to recognize Alexander Lukashenko as President of Belarus.
