According to rubaltic, the Estonian government has decided not to recognize the results of the presidential elections in Belarus and is calling for new ones. The corresponding statement was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Estonia believes that Alexander Lukashenko has lost his mandate due to widespread election fraud”, – the statement says.
“The EU should discuss the situation in Belarus and focus on it in international organizations, including the UN Security Council, the UN Human Rights Council, Council of Europe and OSCE”.
