Bundestag deputies are ready to defend Nord Stream 2 even at the UN

After contacting the UN, Germany can apply to the appropriate courts.

As Ekonomika Segodnya writes with reference to RT, the head of the energy committee Klaus Ernst said that the German Bundestag deputies are studying the possibility of contacting the UN because of the US threat to impose sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

“It is unacceptable when one country, such as the United States, orders another sovereign country to resolve the issue of its own energy supply,” the politician said. “This is contrary to any reasonable relationship.”

Ernst in an interview with RT admitted that after contacting the UN, Germany could apply to the appropriate courts.
