President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the current leadership of the republic will not give it to anyone and will “keep the situation”, noting that, being in the center of Europe, Belarus must be ready to respond to any challenges in time.
This statement was made at a meeting at the Strategic Management Center at the Ministry of Defense.
“I just want to say once again that nothing will come of it. We will not give the country to anyone. We will hold the situation. I do not want to say that there is room for some kind of complacency, calmness. No, we never calmed down. You know, our life and destiny are that we, being in the center of Europe, must always be ready to respond to any challenges in time”, – the head of state said.
