First Deputy Head of EMERCOM of Russia Alexander Chupriyan said that WHO will deliver medical equipment to Lebanon at the expense of Russia.
“The World Health Organisation will provide medical equipment with Russian money” , – he said.
The Russian side is actively helping Lebanon cope with the tragedy in Beirut. Russian rescuers and medics arrived at the site of the August 5 blast, where they are helping not only those affected by the blast but also to fight the pandemic, which has worsened amid the crisis.
