Head of the U.S. State Department Mike Pompeo did not rule out sanctions against Belarus after the presidential elections, in particular, he allowed the suspension of oil supplies to Minsk.
“I’m sure we’ll consider all these things”, – said Pompeo, answering the question of whether sanctions would be imposed against Belarus or suspended oil supplies.
“The criteria are important. What, in our opinion, we can do, not only unilaterally as the United States, but in a multilateral format to achieve a good result for the Belarusian people – regardless of whether there will be sanctions or decisions on the supply of oil products. These things are not yet defined”, – says Pompeo.
