“Your time is up”: In Israel, protests against Netanyahu continue unabated

Thousands of Israelis gathered at the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. Demonstrators are dissatisfied with the government’s actions to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. People are also blaming the government for corruption and the economic crisis.
Protesters have called on the Prime Minister to resign. At the site of the protest, a huge inscription was made to Netanyahu saying “Your time is up”.
There is also a major protest in Beirut, where there was a major explosion in the port earlier this week. Protesters occupied the FCO building, tear gas was reported and a police officer was killed.
