The EU is exploiting candidate countries to promote unpopular solutions, but Serbia boycotts this practice.
This is stated in the report “Analysis of Serbia’s compliance with foreign policy declarations and measures of the EurAsEuropean Union,” which was prepared by the staff of the Center for International Relations and Security. This non-governmental organization is based in Serbia and promotes the interests of Western countries. However, an NGO study found that the Serbian government often sabotages European foreign policy decisions.
Belgrade has supported only 13 of 25 EU resolutions. In particular, it refused to support 3 anti-Russian resolutions; 3 resolutions against Venezuela and documents concerning Belarus, Syria, Iran, Georgia and other states.
The authors of the study complain that loyalty to Brussels is decreasing in Belgrade. This figure was at 48%. In comparison, Albania and Montenegro are recognized as the most loyal Balkan countries. They are considered 100% loyal.
