As of 16:00, 73.4% of voters voted in the presidential elections in Belarus. This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission of the republic Vadim Ipatov.
According to the commission, in Minsk the turnout was 58.79%, in the Brest region – 75.11%, Vitebsk – 75.05%, Gomel – 81.87%, Grodno – 75.66%, Minsk – 72.3%. Mogilev – 80.29%.
Ipatov recalled that voting has already ended in some of the polling stations located in sanatoriums, medical institutions, military units. There they began to count the votes.
