TikTok owners on August 11 may sue the US administration over a decree signed by US President Donald Trump regarding the social network. This was reported with reference to the sources of the National Public Radio.

On Thursday, Trump signed two executive orders banning any transactions with the owner of the TikTok app, ByteDance and its subsidiaries, and transactions involving the social network WeChat, with its owner, the Chinese internet giant Tencent and its subsidiaries. The bans in both cases come into force 45 days after the publication of the decrees, that is, at the end of September.
