In Moldova, several foreign embassies spoke out in support of the head of the European Union delegation, Peter Mikhalko, who had a dispute with the Shor party.
Thus, the embassies of Sweden, France and Poland came out on his side after Mikhalko accused the Moldovan law enforcement agencies of delaying the case of Ilan Shor, who was put on the international wanted list.
Shor’s supporters immediately gathered outside the office of the EU Delegation in Chisinau and demanded that Mikhalko be fired.
French diplomats were the first to react to the situation on Twitter and recalled that Moldova promised to investigate the case of the theft of a billion and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Colleagues were supported by Swedes and Poles.
