The Russian Foreign Ministry called the introduction of affiliation markings for Russian media outlets “a violation of democratic principles”.
According to the representative of the department, such actions indicate the existence of double standards in the United States, since such markings were not introduced for the media of other countries.
Senator Alexei Pushkov has already reacted to the special marking of the Russian media. According to him, this gesture is an act of information discrimination against the media of non-Western countries, representing a different point of view.
