Russia lifts travel restrictions for Swiss citizens

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree removing restrictions on entry to the Russian Federation for Swiss citizens in anticipation of the resumption of flights with this country on August 15, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

Earlier, the operational headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus informed that Russia is resuming flights with Switzerland from August 15. The flights will operate once a week.

“For Swiss citizens, restrictions on entry to Russia imposed by the coronavirus are being lifted. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Swiss citizens will be able to arrive in Russia by air”, – the statement said.
