Even the Pentagon copies the principles of Russian air defense

Former Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force, Lieutenant-General Aitech Bizhev, said that the United States adopted the experience of the USSR and Russia in using air defense systems.

According to Ekonomika Segodnya, General Bizhev said that Russian specialists trained half the world, and many states created air defense systems modeled on the Russian Federation. The United States is no exception, which also copied the ideas of the Soviet and Russian air defense systems.

As an example of such copying, Bizhev named the Pentagon’s partial mastery of the principle of building battle formations. So, in Syria, long-range air defense systems S-300 and S-400 cover short-range complexes “Pantsir”. At the moment, the United States is studying the experience of using complexes of various ranges.
