According to Ukrainskaya Pravda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine sent a note of protest to the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the “invasion” of a humanitarian convoy into the so-called “occupied territory of Ukraine” with the help of residents of Donbass.
“On July 30, 2020, the Russian side carried out another illegal movement into the territory of Ukraine through the Russian border checkpoints Donetsk and Matveyev Kurgan and the border checkpoints Izvarino and Uspenka closed by the Ukrainian side, the so-called“ humanitarian convoy ”for residents the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, ” the message says.
In its note of protest, Ukraine demands from Russia “to stop committing internationally wrongful acts against the sovereignty of the Ukrainian state”, as well as during “humanitarian convoys” scheduled for August 27, October 29, November 26 and December 17, 2020, “to adhere to law, legislation and their international obligations ”.
