US sanctions pressure is a crime against Iran.
This statement was made by the Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei, speaking during the Id-Qurban holiday.
As previously reported by News Front, on Thursday, US State Department Chief Michael Pompeo announced the expansion of US sanctions against Iran. According to him, the punitive measures are aimed at preventing the supply to the Islamic republic of products necessary for the implementation of the nuclear program.
“US sanctions are a crime against Iran,” Ali Khamenei said.
He also stressed that Tehran should not yield to Washington against the background of incoming proposals for negotiations.
“If the US conditions are accepted, they will set new ones,” he stated.
