Republika Srpska refused to provide data to the US internal security structures.
The corresponding decision was made by all factions of the RS Parliament, thereby supporting the position of the Serb representative in the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik.
Previously, the American intelligence agencies intended to get Sarajevo to agree on the transfer of data regarding the movement of citizens. However, as stated in the resolution of the RS Parliament, the agreement “does not reflect either the constitutional structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina, or the constitutional and legal powers of the Republika Srpska”.
“We do not seek to oppose the United States”, – Milorad Dodik said. “However, we cannot support everything that goes beyond the Constitution, the interests of the Republika Srpska, as well as the competence of our structures”.
The politician explained this position by the fact that the United States, like other Western countries, “are on the opposite side”.
