A bill has been submitted for consideration to the State Duma of Russia, providing for new economic sanctions against Ukraine.
The document was developed by the Russian government and is an addition to the complex of sanctions adopted within the framework of the presidential decree “On the application of special economic measures in connection with the unfriendly actions of Ukraine against citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation”.
If the bill is adopted, sanctions will come into force prohibiting the payment agent from accepting funds and making cross-border payments if the recipient is included in the sanctions list.
At the same time, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation will be obliged to submit to the Ministry of Finance reports on the activities of organizations that conduct transactions with persons from the sanctions list.
