Two days after the beginning of the silence in the Donbas, the truce was thwarted by the Ukrainian occupation.
It was reported on Wednesday, July 29, by the press service of the People’s Militia of the DPR.
According to the department, this morning the punitive forces of the 54th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire with the use of small arms at the settlement of Yakovlevka.
“It is noteworthy that the fire was conducted with the use of devices for silent shooting, in order to exclude the OSCE SMM fixing this incident as a violation of the ceasefire regime”, – the DPR NM said.
In addition, according to information from the DPR intelligence, militants of the Special Operations Forces worked in the positions of the punishers. They instructed rank-and-file punishers on how to carry out military provocations in a truce.
