Over 80 refugees from abroad returned to Syria within 24 hours

More than 80 refugees returned to Syria from Lebanon in the past 24 hours, according to the information bulletin of the reception, distribution and accommodation center published on the website of the Russian Defense Ministry.

“In the past 24 hours 82 refugees (including: women – 25, children – 42) have returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from Lebanon through the checkpoints “Jeidet Yabus” and “Tell Kalakh”. No refugees were withdrawn from Jordan through the Nasib checkpoint”, –  it said.

Also within 24 hours, 22 refugees returned to their places of permanent residence.

It is added that Syrian Armed Forces engineering units have cleared 1.9 hectares of land in Duma (Damascus governorate), Jasim and al-Harra (Deraa governorate) within 24 hours. Thirty-six explosive ordnance items have been found and destroyed.
