After the presidential elections in the United States, a new "overseer" may be sent to Ukraine

According to RBC-Ukraine, Ukrainian Ambassador to the US Volodymyr Yelchenko said that after the US elections in November this year, the new administration in Washington may send its special envoy to Kiev.

“We need such a person, and after the November elections, I hope such a person will be appointed. They don’t talk about it directly, but there are hints that someone will. At a certain stage, it was hoped that the new US Ambassador to Ukraine Keith Dayton would become such a person, but, unfortunately, the process of his approval in the Senate was delayed, absolutely not for political reasons, ” Yelchenko said.

The ambassador said that he had heard only positive comments about his candidacy, and “there is no doubt that it will be approved as soon as the Senate meets.”
