These results were shown by a NORC poll commissioned by the Associated Press.
Support for Trump’s activities was expressed by 38% of respondents – this figure has been gradually decreasing since March 2020, when the coronavirus epidemic began in the United States.
The same percentage of Americans believe that everything is in order with the American economy (in January, before the start of the epidemic, there were 67% of them).
At the same time, only 32% of respondents approve of Trump’s actions to combat the epidemic (44% in March).
And 44% support the economic policy of the current American president (56% in March).
The NORC poll took place during July 16-20. It was attended by 1057 Americans aged 18 and over. The margin of error is 4.3%.
