China protested the US invasion of the consulate in Houston

China protested and made a representation to the United States that US officials invaded the premises of the Chinese consulate in Houston after Chinese diplomats left. This was stated by Wang Wenbin, spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, the Houston Chronicle newspaper reported that Chinese diplomats vacated the Chinese Consulate General in Houston, which was closed at the request of the United States, after which American officials entered the building. According to the newspaper, 40 minutes after the time set for the closure of the consulate, a man, who is probably a representative of the US State Department, and several other people entered the building.
