Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that Ukraine signed a memorandum and a loan agreement with the European Commission.
The main plus of these documents for Kiev is the receipt of another handout in the amount of 1.2 billion euros.
The documents were signed in Brussels during a visit by Shmygal, Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko and the head of the National Bank Kirill Shevchenko.
If this happens, Ukraine will receive the largest tranche from the EC as part of the macro-financial assistance program for 10 countries that have been affected by the pandemic.
True, there is nothing good in such a separation of Ukraine among all. It simply means that it is she who is in the deepest hole. And something suggests that even if there were twice as much help from Europe, it would not help Kiev get out of it.
