Polish President Andrzej Duda, known for his subservience to Washington, made many enemies during the elections, who now decided to unite.
This was stated by the leader of the Poland 2050 movement Shimon Holovnya.
According to him, the author of the idea of uniting the Polish opposition is the chairman of the Civic Platform party Boris Budka. In this regard, Holovnya presented the concept of the “Strategy 2050” analytical center.
“We are pleased to share with you our experience in creating a civil movement. In a friendly way and for the common good, we will tell you how to create a modern think tank. Ours will be called “Strategy 2050”, – he said.
It is currently unclear how the roles will be distributed in the new organization. True, controversy has already arisen around it. So, Holovnya complained that the Civic Platform appropriates all the common achievements.
As previously reported by News Front, the presidential race in Poland was accompanied by a major scandal. The ruling elite wanted to organize remote voting during a period of severe quarantine, when none of the opposition candidates could even campaign. The elections were nevertheless postponed, and the incumbent President Andrzej Duda won with 50.4% of the vote. He surpassed the mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, by less than a percent. Shimon Kholovna was supported by only 13.8% of voters.
