The radical Taliban* is ready to release all the remaining Afghan prisoners before the evening of Eid al-Adha and at the end of the holiday to begin inter-Afghan negotiations if the exchange of prisoners is completed, said Suheil Shahin, a spokesman for the movement’s political office in Qatar.
“The Taliban* is ready to release all remaining prisoners of the other side until the evening of Eid al-Adha, provided that they release all prisoners from our list that was handed over to them. The emirate is ready to start inter-Afghan negotiations immediately after Eid al-Adha if the process of freeing the prisoners is completed”, – Shahin wrote on Twitter.
