In his statement, the Belarusian president mentioned such organizations as the BBC, “Svoboda”, “Free Europe”.
As reported by TASS with reference to the BelTA agency, on Thursday at a meeting with the leadership of the country’s economic bloc, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that foreign media could be expelled from the country for non-observance of laws and calls for “Maidans”.
“BBC”,“Svoboda”, “Free Europe”and so on, these streams <…> I’m not talking about tendentiousness, they call for riots. Why do you put up with this? You accredited them here. There is no need to wait for any end of the electoral campaign. Get them out of here if they do not comply with our laws and invite people to the Maidans”.
