US Congress invents new sanctions against Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream 2

The United States approved new sanctions against Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream 2. This decision was made by the House of Representatives of the Congress.

Amendments to tighten measures were proposed to be introduced into the defense budget for the next fiscal year, which will begin on October 1.

New US sanctions will affect foreign companies and individuals involved in the implementation of the project, in particular, the provision of vessels for laying pipes for both pipelines.
