"The whole country will fly to hell": Trump compared the riots in Chicago and Afghanistan

Commenting in a conversation with reporters on the ongoing riots and protests in a number of states, Trump said that local lawmakers are “weak and afraid of protesters” and therefore refuse federal assistance to restore order.

“How about Chicago? Do you think they need help after this weekend? Do you know what the numbers are? Many, many people were injured, many were killed. I’m not talking about one or two – 18 people were killed! I think even more. And how much will it be over the summer? This is definitely worse than in Afghanistan, ” Trump said.

He added that cities like Chicago are run by “the same Liberal Democrats” and it will be “nationwide” if Democratic candidate Joe Biden wins the upcoming US presidential election.

“The whole country will fly to hell. But we will not let her fly to hell, ” commented Trump on the likelihood of victory for his main rival.

According to him, the issue of additional dispatch of federal law enforcement officers to Chicago is currently being considered.
