The strike that began on Monday morning in Israel by nurses and nurses protesting against the shortage of medical personnel amid growing coronavirus sickness rate ended the evening after the authorities decided to create 2,400 new jobs in the country’s health care system. This was reported by Israel’s public radio Kan.
Earlier, Advisor to Israeli Finance Minister Israel Katsa Zina Reutman told reporters that an agreement was reached with the head of the Ministry of Health Yuli Edelstein to allocate funds to create 2.4 thousand new jobs in the health sector. She said 2,000 nurses and 400 doctors will be employed.
Since late May, Israel has resumed the growth of daily coronavirus infections. To prevent the spread of the infection, the government of the Jewish state decided on July 17 to close gyms and fitness centers, and from July 21 limited the work of restaurants. Prior to that, from May 27, the Ministry of Health’s basic regulations in Israel maintained the mandatory two-meter distance and the wearing of protective masks outside the home. The penalty for the absence of a mask is the equivalent of 10 thousand rubles.
