The head of the Ukrainian executive committee of the National Council of Reforms Mikhail Saakashvili believes that Ukraine may cease to exist in its current form due to the actions of local authorities.
“A big revenge is being prepared for those forces that the “Sluga Naroda” moved from the central government last year”, – Saakashvili said.
According to him, local officials are creating “private armies” in their regions, which are financed from the state budget.
“What is the situation – they gave the entire budget to the local feudal lords, they are mad about nothing. In addition to stealing 80%, private armies are created for the rest. Here in Odessa there is a municipal guard, just ordinary thugs, “titushki” who go in uniform and with weapons, and are financed from the budget. Some of them are preparing to break away from Ukraine, no doubt about it. We can lose Ukraine in this form if we do not do something abruptly. And the other part is preparing to win revenge in Kiev”, – the politician said.
