Also in Mallorca, a Briton was detained, who came to a cafe being drunk and began to cough indicatively at visitors, threatening to infect them with a coronavirus. Soon the rowdy was taken away by the police. He was tested for COVID-19, the result was negative.

“Regions of Spain have to be quarantined, old people are forced to sit in nursing homes, and we put on masks when we go out. Meanwhile, the careless British are doing whatever they want in Magaluf [Mallorca]. What a shame”, – wrote the Spaniard on Twitter.

The local police received at least sixty complaints about illegal parties. The total amount of fines has already reached 600 thousand euros. Moreover, in connection with the incident, the local authorities were forced to block the main street of Mallorca with entertainment facilities. It will be closed until the end of the tourist season. There are fears that the incident with the violent British will provoke a new wave of coronavirus, which the Spaniards have been so desperate to avoid.

It should be noted that German citizens were also noticed among the violators. German Health Minister Jens Spahn even had to publicly apologize for his fellow citizens.

As previously reported by News Front, Spain was considered one of the countries most affected by the coronavirus. By mid-March, the infected were in all provinces of the country, and at the end of the month, the number of deaths from COVID-19 in Spain exceeded the number of deaths in China.
