Moldovan government faces a vote of no confidence

Former Prime Minister Maia Sandu said that her party is ready to support colleagues from the Dignity and Truth Platform, who put forward a vote.

As reported by the Sputnik Blizhneye Zarubezhye Telegram chanel reports, the threat of a vote of no confidence in the Moldovan government has become more real.

“Recently, the leader of the Pro Moldova party Andrian Candu claimed his readiness to support the initiative. The three parties have together 36 seats in parliament. This is enough to achieve consideration of the vote”, – the message says.

“The current government has actually lost the support of the majority of the deputies. The recent package of bills of the Cabinet of Ministers was approved only on the fourth attempt – there was no quorum in the parliament”.

The ministers are not going to resign. President Dodon said that the current government would resign only to initiate early parliamentary elections.
