The Armenian Defense Ministry reported that the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively calm.
On Tuesday, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported on the artillery shelling of two border villages in Tovuz region of the republic by Armenian armed forces.
“In the morning of July 14, Armenian Armed Forces’ subdivisions fired from large-caliber weapons and artillery installations of Agdam village and Alibeyli village of Tovuz region”, – Head of the Defense Ministry’s Press Service Vagif Dargyakhly told journalists. The villagers were not harmed, he said.
The Armenian Defense Ministry, in turn, reported on Tuesday morning that the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively calm, while at night the Armenian armed forces observed the movement of the Azerbaijani army tank. Shushan Stepanyan, spokesman for the Defense Ministry, wrote about it on her Facebook page.
“At night, from the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces, our soldiers observed the movement of the enemy tank, which was suppressed by fire. The situation on the border is relatively calm now”, – she noted.
