OPEC+ countries want to revise the terms of the oil deal

The reason for this was the growth in demand and stabilization of prices on the oil market.

According to The Wall Street Journal citing sources in the cartel, OPEC and OPEC+ oil producing countries may revise the terms of the deal to reduce oil production amid rising demand for raw materials during a web conference scheduled for July 15.

A corresponding proposal was put forward by Saudi Arabia. The main issue will be the volume of oil production decline, which they want to reduce from the current 9.6 mn barrels to 7.7 mn barrels. This will increase daily production by almost two million barrels.
