The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced the start of clashes on the border with Armenia.
According to the Azerbaijani side, both sides suffered the first irretrievable losses. It is known that the ceasefire was violated on the site of the Tovuz district of the state border of the two countries.
Official Baku announced that the Armenian military subjected artillery shelling to the positions of the Azerbaijani army.
“There are losses on both sides. Currently, there are fights in this direction. Our units monitor the operational situation”, – the press service of the military department of the Transcaucasian republic said.
In particular, two servicemen were killed on the Azerbaijani side, five were injured.
