The U.S. wants to invite China to arms control talks in Vienna

Washington wants Beijing to join arms control talks in Vienna.

Besides, the USA wants Russia and China to meet in advance.

This was stated by the head of the press service of the U.S. State Department, Morgan Ortegus.

“U.S. President’s Special Representative for Arms Control Marshall Billingsley will invite Chinese authorities to join the negotiations in good faith in Vienna, Austria. The United States also recommends that representatives of China and Russia meet earlier to discuss next steps for trilateral arms control talks”, –  she said in a written statement.
