In Slovenia, a sculpture of the first lady of the United States was burned

Five months after a wooden statue of U.S. President Donald Trump burned to the ground in Slovenia, a sculpture of his wife Melanie was set on fire there.

The incident happened this weekend when the United States was celebrating Independence Day.

Sculptor Brad Downey, who believed his creation would facilitate a two-way dialogue, now asks the question: “Why did they do this?”

Melanie Trump’s sculpture was installed in her hometown of Sevnica. The monument was severely damaged by fire, so it had to be dismantled.

It is worth noting that Donald Trump’s sculpture was previously installed in Sevnica. It reached almost 8 meters in height and depicted the President of the United States with his usual hair, in a blue suit and with his right hand raised up. In January, the statue was burned to the ground.
