Ukraine is intentionally disrupting the negotiation process on Donbass and preparing for “even more serious war” with Russia, which will be beneficial to the democratic elite of the USA. This opinion was expressed by the military expert of the People’s Diplomacy Foundation, Serhiy Prostakov, in a commentary on the IRA.
On Wednesday, the website of the U.S. Appropriations Committee published the draft U.S. military budget for fiscal year 2021. It shows that Democrats in the US House of Representatives proposed to increase military aid to Ukraine by 25m dollars to 275m dollars.
It is assumed that the increased amount will be used for personnel training, logistics support, provision of weapons, as well as intelligence support to the military and “national security forces” of Ukraine.
In Sergey Prostakov’s opinion, the steps taken by Kiev and the US democrats are fully coordinated. He reminded that the coup d’état in Ukraine and the country’s transformation into an “anti-Russian foothold” in 2014 were carried out under Barack Obama’s democratic administration.
“Relations with Ukraine have become not only a geopolitical direction for the democratic part of the U.S. elite, but also an overgrown corrupt relationship, allowing for various illegal schemes. Weapons supplies are not only a means of maintaining high tensions in the conflict, but also a considerable amount of money. Therefore, the actions of democrats have quite understandable reasons”, – the expert explained.
