Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov initiated a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
This is stated in a message on the official website of the Kremlin.
“Given the previously sent congratulations on the successful holding of the vote on the approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the President of Kyrgyzstan emphasized the importance of the results of the will of Russian citizens for the progressive socio-economic development of the country and the strengthening of its sovereignty. A number of pressing topics of bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic field, as well as questions of assistance provided by Russia in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection, will be touched upon. It was agreed to continue cooperation in this direction”, – it was reported.
