An armed man was seen near the home of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The premier’s house is located on the residence of Governor General Julia Payette, the official representative of the United Kingdom.
At 6:40 local time [13:40 Moscow time] an armed man entered the territory of the residence, the Canadian police press service said. Trudeau himself, like Payette at that time was not in the residence.
“This man was arrested shortly afterwards without incident. He is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation, ” the police said.
