Almost 30 refugees returned to Syria from Lebanon in the past 24 hours, according to the newsletter of the reception, distribution and accommodation center published on the Russian Ministry of Defense Facebook page.

“In the past 24 hours 28 refugees (including: women – 8, children – 15) have returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from Lebanon through the checkpoints “Jeidet Yabus” and “Tell Kalakh”. No refugees were withdrawn from Jordan through the Nasib checkpoint”, –  it said.

Eleven refugees returned within 24 hours to their places of permanent residence within the country.

It is added that engineering units of the Syrian Armed Forces demined 2.2 hectares of land in the settlements of Duma (Damascus province), Jasim and al-Harra (Deraa province) within 24 hours. Thirty-four explosive ordnance items have been detected and destroyed.
