Ukrainian security forces reported 12 shootings in Donbass in 24 hours.

Ukrainian law enforcers said on Wednesday that they recorded 12 shelling of their positions in Donbass over the past 24 hours, two soldiers were injured.

The press centre of the headquarters of the United Nations Operation in Ukraine published on Facebook said that the militia “violated the ceasefire regime 12 times a day”.

 

“During the last 24 hours, two Ukrainian defenders were injured in the confrontation. They were promptly taken to the military medical establishment… The victims’ state of health is satisfactory”, –  the report said.

In April 2014, the Ukrainian government launched a military operation against the self-declared LNR and DNR, which declared independence after the state revolution in Ukraine in February 2014. According to the latest UN data, about 13,000 people fell victim to the conflict.
