More than 100 people arrested in US for spoiling federal property

US authorities have detained more than 100 people for participating in the riots and damaging federal property, said White House spokeswoman Kaylee Mackinani.

“The Justice Ministry detained more than a hundred anarchists for unrest and the destruction of federal property. The Justice Department also charged four people in a federal court for trying to drop the statue of Andrew Jackson in Lafayette Square from the pedestal, ” she said.

According to Makinani, the FBI is investigating about 200 cases of internal terrorism, and the head of the Justice Department, Attorney General William Barr, has created a working group to combat anti-state extremism.
