Demosisto was established in 2016, and has recently been a key force in anti-government protests in Hong Kong.

The leaders of the formation were Nathan Lowe, Agnes Chow, and well-known Washington herald in Hong Kong Joshua Wong.

On Tuesday, June 30, the organization ceases to exist, although its members promise to continue to destabilize the city for the sake of “democracy.”
